senseFly named as finalist in Europe’s largest business award competition
senseFly, the world’s first choice producer of mapping drones, has been named as one of the finalists, and one of ten Ruban d’Honneur recipients, in the 2016/17 European Business Awards.
After more than 33,000 businesses entered Europe’s largest and most significant cross-sector business competition, senseFly was selected as one of the 110 finalists by a panel of independent judges for demonstrating the core values of the European Business Awards: innovation, ethics and success.
The company will now engage in an in-depth interview, which will determine if it is a winner of one of the 11 categories. The award winners will be announced at a gala on 4 May in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
“We’re honoured to have been selected as a finalist in this prestigious competition,” said Jean-Christophe Zufferey, CEO of senseFly. “Innovation has been at the core of our company from the start. To be recognized for our ongoing commitment to technological advancement solidifies our position as the industry leader in mapping drones.”
The European Business Awards was established to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe. Lead sponsor RSM, a provider of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market businesses globally, has supported the European Business Awards since its inception.
“To survive in this economic climate is hard enough, so to innovate, prosper and grow as this year’s Ruban D’Honneur recipients have is truly remarkable,” said Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards. “Europe needs more companies like these. Well done to them all.”
senseFly is also taking part in “The Public Vote,” where the public chooses “National Public Champions” for each country. To vote for them, go to www.businessawardeurope.com. The company with the most votes in each country wins and will be announced on 6 March.
