The Duet T thermal mapping camera is a 2-in-1 sensor. Includes a 20 MP high-resolution S.O.D.A. RGB camera and a built-in 640 x 512 px Flir sensor. The two sensors are synchronized to capture the images almost simultaneously.
Each Duet T is precisely calibrated by us.
The rig’s built-in Camera Position Synchronization feature works in sync with PIX4Dmapper photogrammetry software (optional) to simplify the map reconstruction process.
By capture the RGB and IR images in 1 flight, the mapping and post-processing are faster. Moreover, less thermal image overlap is needed, allowing for x2 coverage.
Using only thermal images for reconstructions typically leads to poor results due to lack of features and detail within the thermal images.
With the Duet T you now have high quality, global shuttered RGB images which are taken at the same time as thermal, thus vastly improving the reconstruction process.
